Hey, Ik ben Alexander Schotte
Gedreven door zin in actie en avontuur verken ik de wereld rondom mij. Dicht bij huis of hier heel ver vandaan, mijn camera heb ik (bijna) altijd bij. Ik hou van spontaniteit en laat me leiden door verwondering en nieuwsgierigheid. (Weg) Van het Alledaagse laat ik mij inspireren door alles om me heen. Wat de moeite waard is, is maar hoe je het bekijkt.
Met een sterke focus op sport-, travel- en adventure fotografie deel ik mijn blik op de wereld. Ik probeer er verschillende elementen op de juiste manier te laten samenkomen waardoor een sterk verhalend beeld ontstaat. Mijn opleiding als ingenieur architect beschouw ik als complementaire vaardigheid omdat ik ook daar leerde nadenken over hoe ik tal van factoren op elegante manier kan samenbrengen tot een sprekend ontwerp.
P.S. Naast fotografie ben ik ook fan van de koers en trek er vaak zelf met de fiets op uit;)

Hey, I'm Alexander Schotte.
Driven by a need for action and adventure, I explore the world around me. Whether at home or far beyond, my camera is (almost) always by my side. I embrace spontaneity and let curiosity and wonder guide me. (away) From Ordinary, I find inspiration in everything around me. After all, what’s worthwhile is only a matter of perspective.
Through my photography, I share my view on the world. I aim to bring different elements together in just the right way to create powerful, storytelling images. My background as an engineer-architect complements this, as it taught me to think about how diverse factors can be combined into a compelling design.
P.S. Besides photography, I’m also a big cycling fan—you’ll often find me out on my bike;)
